One of Kirsty\u2019s first loves is sports journalism. She understands and knows not only her state-of-the-art equipment, but also sport \u2013 everything from football and rugby to cricket, fencing, boxing, gymnastics, and everything in between.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Sports photography is exciting and challenging. It is all about timing, a skill learned through experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Capturing the most exciting moments of the action is Kirsty\u2019s ultimate goal, and this requires planning and skill. Whether it is a basketball jump-shot, the strike of a golf ball, the moment a rugby player pauses before taking a try, or a goalkeeper defending a penalty \u2013 this is sports photography at its most exciting.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

What makes Kirsty stand out is also her innate ability to also capture the more reflective moments of sport \u2013 the baited breath of the crowd as they await the referee\u2019s decision, the player\u2019s face as he is substituted, the swimmer before she takes to the pool.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
